Adult Outpatient Services provides brief and long term, solution focused counseling services to individuals who are experiencing emotional problems. The focus of treatment is to assist the individual in assessing needs and strengths and to develop natural supports and strategies through which needs can be met. All services are provided by, or under the supervision of, mental health professionals. The following is a sample of services that may be provided: Individual and/or Group Counseling - The client and clinician develop a plan to address the clients concerns and outline a program to address behaviors that are creating difficulties for the client and to increase behaviors that support and meet the client needs. Behavioral goals are set and discussed at each session to monitor the client progress. Family Support & Education - Clinicians work with family and friends whom the client identifies to educate them as to the symptoms of the client's diagnosis and ways in which family and friends can assist the client. May be provided in family or group meetings. Medication Management - Clinicians and medical staff work together to provide clients with safe access to medications. This may mean: assisting the client with setting up a med box; distributing medication on a scheduled basis; advocating for the client with pharmaceutical companies who supply medication free of charge to the client; regular visits with the nurse or doctor; etc. Supported Employment Services -Cascade Employment Services assists clients with specialized training and support designed to assist clients in their job search and to help make the work experience successful. Clients receive training in resume writing, assessing skills to match with jobs in the community, ongoing support through individual and group counseling to address work issues and increase coping, social, and communication skills. Clients work with their case manager and the supported employment specialist to determine readiness for work and supports needed to make the transition to work successful. Hospital Diversion - Case management works closely with those clients at risk for psychiatric hospitalization by providing in-home stabilization services or accessing placement in the Crisis Respite/Hospital Diversion house.
