It was a sunny September Sunday when my friend and I hiked to the top of the world. A long and narrow trail is all you need to reach the very top, but the way is steep.
Along our adventurous journey, God revealed to us His world of creation. His world is so compound, yet through a child’s eye, it is simply magical.
Follow us on our child-like journey to the top of the world. Come along as we playfully discover God’s wonders The large elk footprints led the way as our feet crunched over crisp pumice stone upon the trail. But we didn’t see a mighty elk! The busy chipmunks and the buggy mosquitoes were the only creatures we encountered along the way. The big bear and sly cougar, though, were probably hiding among the tall fir. We pretended to be very brave. As the earth music hummed around us, our feet marched in time to the wildflower dance. I think the heather and huckleberry bushes liked our rhythm, but the blackbirds flew away. continued.... download
