Twin Transit is pleased to announce 

A New and Improved Route 12!

Formerly the Worker's Express, Route 12 is now the South Chehalis Route.

This route was originally designed to serve workers at points from the Port of Chehalis to Amtrak.  It had limited, partial-day service and was not a flag service, which lead to confusion as to who could ride and where and when one could catch this bus. 

Route 12  is now expanded and improved in order to serve the majority of riders 

in the Twin Transit service area!

Improvements to Route 12:                           

• Now runs all day from 5 AM - 6 PM
• Loops now begin at the top of the hour, which allows Route 12 to connect with our other routes
• Now a flag service - you may flag the Route 12 bus just like all of our other route buses
• Route 12 will drop you anywhere you need to go along its route - no more "We don't stop there, even though it is on the route"
• Now stops at the Lewis County Mall hourly at 17 minutes till the hour, allowing a convenient connection with Route 30 buses
• Still gets workers from the Amtrak to the Port of Chehalis in 20 minutes

Additions to Route 12:

• Now serves Jackson Highway between Chehalis and the Port of Chehalis
• Now serves Southwest Chehalis
  • After leaving the Port of Chehalis and driving back toward Amtrak
  • Travels along Chehalis Ave. between 9th St. and Main St.
  • Passes by Chehalis Avenue Apartments, Thorbecke's, two daycare centers, the Lewis County Courthouse and jail, and all the residences in that area

Route 12 is color-coded yellow on our new and expanded service map.

We at Twin Transit are pleased to be able to provide this improved and expanded service, and we hope that many more riders will now be served.
